Our Misson
Pure Pediatric Therapy was founded upon an intense love for infants and children and a commitment to their lives. Pure Pediatric Therapy provides advanced, specialized and nurturing therapeutic intervention and treatment to build a solid developmental foundation for continued growth and maturation. Therapy will enable the individual child the freedom to overcome obstacles, experience challenges, and achieve success with the parent/caregiver as an integral component of their child’s therapeutic development.
Get to Know Liz
Liz has always had a passion for working with children, and her caring personality helps to foster meaningful and effective therapeutic relationships. In 2014, Liz became the director of Pure Pediatric Therapy. Over the past 10 years, she has grown the practice into a multidisciplinary team and has embraced the belief that the most effective interventions occur in the least restrictive environment which is most often, the child’s home with caregivers actively involved. As a mom herself, Liz is committed to including both the family and child in treatment, believing their participation plays a vital role in achieving positive outcomes.
Liz holds a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Studies and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy, both from Boston University. She also holds an Advanced Practice Certification in Feeding and Swallowing (SWC). She has experience working with infants and children of all ages across a variety of settings, including the neonatal intensive care unit, outpatient pediatric clinics, sensory integration clinics, and schools. Liz is especially passionate about treating children with oral motor and feeding concerns, and has undergone extensive training and certification in feeding and swallowing assessment, evaluation, and intervention.
With a deep understanding of infant and child development, Liz tailors occupational therapy to be both fun and functional, always aiming to help each child and family reach their full potential. She also provides comprehensive home programs filled with engaging, easy-to-implement activities that support skill development and ensure carryover into daily routines.
Outside of work, Liz enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, going to the movies, and traveling to the East Coast.
